For circuit simulations, I use NGSPICE (from Sourceforge, DarwinPorts/MacPorts, yum, etc).
Charles D. H. Williams' SPICE port for the Mac interface: MacSpice, including a User's Guide.
There is a free (student) windows-interface SPICE called PSPICE 9.1.
