One of the more common tasks one might attempt is to plot a data file composed of ordered pairs. An example of such a file is provided for use with this little tutorial.

1. Data → Load Waves → Load Waves
2. Click File button to select data file.
3. Click Tweeks button and check the space box since this data file is space delimited.
4. Click Return to return to the “Load Waves” box.
5. Click Do It.
6. You can now change the names of the columns from “wave0” and “wave1” if you like.
7. Click Load to complete the process.
8. Windows→New Graph.
9. Select the wave you would like displayed on the X and Y axis.
10. Click Do It to obtain the plot.
11. You can double click on various portions of the plot to adjust them.
